(EnergyAsia, September 26, Friday) — ‘Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI)’ will be held at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel in Macau, China on October 27 to 31.

This bi-annual conference and exhibition offers a vital meeting for the electricity industry in Asia. Member countries are appointed to host the conference on a rotational basis.

CEPSI is under the patronage of the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) – a regional non-government organisation founded in 1975, whose main objectives include facilitating exchange of expertise between electric power companies of various countries and territories in the region

AESIEAP members are organisations responsible for providing or administering public electricity supply in the Asia Pacific region and other organisations related to this industry.

Topics discussed include power markets, clean power technology trends, renewable versus nuclear, clean coal, 21st century grid, smart grid, power delivery, investment, finance and risks in the power sector, climate change and investment and risk management in Asia.
