(EnergyAsia, October 29, Wednesday) — The ‘Singapore Energy Conference’ will be held during the International Energy Week at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore on November 4 to 5.

The flagship event of the International Energy Week (November 3 to 7) will gather policymakers as well as experts from research institutes and industry players to discuss the challenges, possibilities and solutions to powering cities of the future.

Singapore has positioned itself as a leader in advancing technology for renewable energy solutions. It is the hub for a number of multinational energy companies with upstream and downstream operations. As Asian populations grow and demand for energy rises, cities have to identify, adopt and integrate energy efficient solutions.

The conference will cover various topics including climate change, sustainable technology, energy efficiency, business risk and opportunities, and integrated energy solutions for cities.
