(EnergyAsia, April 3, Friday) — Logistic specialist BDP International has named Michael Andaloro as its new managing director for the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Andaloro, with more than 20 years in the global transportation and logistics industry, succeeds Peter Huels who has moved on to head BDP Project Logistics.

Mr Andaloro will be responsible for the strategic operation of all BDP-owned and joint venture enterprises including 26 offices in 11 countries.  Working in collaboration with the leadership of each country within the region and other BDP operations around the world, he will engage all aspects of the enterprise.

Based in Shanghai, China, he is a member of BDP’s global leadership team. Prior to this appointment, Mr Andaloro was chief operating officer for BDP’s US operations between 2003 and 2008.
