(EnergyAsia, January 15, Thursday) — The ‘China Offshore Summit’, organised by the Global Leaders Institute, will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Beijing, China from March 18 to 20.

The conference will address issues on the global offshore oil and gas industry, international cooperation, integration of global resources, development of deepwater technologies, and offshore exploration and production.

A pre-conference workshop on offshore oil and gas investment and financing will be held on March 18. The workshop will examine the status and outlook for international offshore oil and gas investment and financing, analyse investments as well as evaluate risks in China’s offshore exploration and production market. Issues on international mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, vessel financing and asset management, and the financial crisis will also be addressed.
