(EnergyAsia, December 8 2011, Thursday) — Energy advisory firm Global Pacific & Partners is opening a regional office in Singapore with a cocktail reception today on sixth floor of the Mandarin Orchard Hotel from 5.30 pm.
Chairman and CEO Duncan Clarke and vice chairman Babette van Gessel will host the reception to announce the establishment of the company’s Asia Representative Office under Jessica Clarke, a former vice president with JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley in London.
Global Pacific & Partners has been extensively involved in Asia and Australasia’s exploration industry for 30 years, providing research and advisory services to the oil and gas industry.
Dr Clarke said: “We have been in and around Asia for a very long time. The firm established its initial Asia Office presence in Sydney in 1989 from where client relations were developed across the Asia oil and gas landscape.
“With the Singapore office, we have decided to enhance our focus and presence going forward. It will assist our firm to consolidate our business and build our presence in Asia.”
The company is well known for its landmark Asia Petroleum: Strategy Briefing conducted annually for the last 20 years, and the Annual Asia Oil Week/ Asia Upstream, now in its 17th year.
