New Zealand’s output of greenhouse gas from energy generation has been rising rapidly since 1990, according to the country’s Press news service. At current rates, New Zealand could be stuck with a bill of between NZ$500 million and NZ$1.2 billion if it fails to reduce greenhouse gases in line with its Kyoto Protocol commitments….
