(EnergyAsia, January 19, Monday) — The ‘3rd Negotiating Successful Gas and LNG contracts’ workshop will be held at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers in Dubai, UAE from February 23 to 26.
Workshop organiser NeoEdge Pte Ltd said the advance course will provide detailed training that will enable participants to gain insight into the way buyers and sellers view and negotiate sales agreements. Case studies will be used to examine the negotiation process, inherent risks in a project and ways these risks are addressed.
The workshop will also discuss terms of recently concluded sales contracts and the risk matrix of a project.
Modules covered at the workshop include details of LNG and gas sales contracts, current practices, LNG sale into the US, economic assessments of contracts, identification and handling of project risks, and price terms in pipeline gas and LNG contracts.
The workshop will also cover topics on European markets, dispute resolution, full gas sales contract and project financing fundamentals.
Anthony Way, director and managing partner of international consultancy The Energy Contract Company will be facilitating the workshop.
