(EnergyAsia, March 2, Monday) — The ‘Commercial Fundamentals of the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry’ conference, organised by Neoedge Pte Ltd, will be held at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers in UAE from March 1 to 4.

The conference, which comprises six modules, will provide delegates with a practical and in-depth understanding of the commercial world of upstream oil and gas.

Topics covered include asset management, commercial performance indicators, risk management in upstream developments, price risks and disputes, upstream agreements, product sales, oil, gas and LNG transportation, asset management, project costs and investments, project financing and evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, government relationships and technical issues.

Participants will also look at a case study of an upstream oil and gas development involving a hypothetical offshore oil and gas project. It will cover the entire value chain from production through sales, and transportation to another country including throughput into a new import terminal.

Anthony Way and Yvonne Barton from The Energy Contract Company will be facilitating the workshop.
